Citizens Against Unfair Financial Practices (CAUFP) stands up for consumers' rights to fair and equitable financial treatment.

About CAUFP

Caufp.org is a non-profit organization founded by Felix M. Cordova.
After three decades of working as a licensed debt recovery management specialist, he witnessed firsthand how financial institutions and their lobbyists have systematically created a flawed, biased, and discriminatory credit system.
This system primarily benefits financial institutions, allowing them to reap significant profits while denying consumers their right to pursue the American Dream.
In response to this injustice, Cordova launched Citizens Against Unfair Financial Practices (caufp.org).

Our Mission

At Citizens Against Unfair Financial Practices (CAUFP), our mission is to build a powerful grassroots movement of informed citizens united to challenge and expose predatory financial practices. From solicitation and application to approval and credit reporting, every step of the consumer lending process has been manipulated to favor powerful financial institutions—leaving everyday Americans at a disadvantage. We believe the system must change. That’s why we’ve created CAUFP.org—a platform where citizens, lawmakers, legal advocates, and community leaders can come together to demand transparency, fairness, and accountability in consumer finance. Together, we will raise our voices, drive reform, and protect the right of every American to pursue the dream of financial freedom without exploitation.
